Dog Friendly Events uses necessary storage for account, ticket, security, and app features. Optional measurement helps us understand public page visits and improve the service. Your choice never blocks core access.
Regional defaults and choices
For the EEA, United Kingdom, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, China, India, South Korea, and an unknown country, site analytics, Google Analytics 4, and HubSpot are off until you affirmatively allow them. Elsewhere, including the United States, those tools may run after a clear notice unless you reject them. Advertising, remarketing, and session replay remain off in all regions. A valid Global Privacy Control signal overrides a saved choice and turns all optional measurement off. You may change your choice from the footer at any time. We ask again when this policy version changes.
What we collect and why
Our optional site measurement stores public page paths without arbitrary queries, country, a safe referrer origin/path, coarse screen class, language and timezone, user agent, daily rotating HMAC network pseudonym, bounded interaction names and numbers, and opaque approved event or object IDs. It covers page views, scrolling, visible engagement, navigation, forms without values, media, performance, PWA status, errors, exits, and aggregate discovery, save, RSVP, ticket and organizer funnels. We use these signals to improve navigation, reliability, and event discovery. No raw IP is stored in this measurement table. We do not collect form values, search or message text, profile or dog contents, ticket or QR payloads, passwords, precise location, file content, or fingerprinting entropy for optional measurement.
Vendors and cookies
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-9JKEBZ9CYN) measures audience and public usage when enabled. HubSpot (portal 6544713) measures public marketing engagement when enabled. Their scripts may set identifiers and receive browser and request data under their own policies. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are denied; no replay vendor is configured. The host-only, signed privacy choice cookie is necessary to remember your choice for at most 395 days. Optional vendor cookies are controlled by your category choice. We clear locally controlled optional identifiers where feasible when you revoke, although data already received by vendors may require a separate deletion request.
Retention and transfers
Optional site measurement is automatically deleted after 395 days. The choice cookie expires within 395 days. Google and HubSpot may process data internationally, including in the United States; their separate retention and transfer terms apply to their services. We limit optional measurement on private, profile, ticket, checkout, scanner, account, and administration pages.
Your requests
Use the footer’s “Privacy choices” or “Do Not Sell or Share / Targeted Advertising” control to change measurement immediately. To request access, deletion, or correction, or appeal a privacy decision, email events@dogfriendlyevents.org with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will verify the request, explain the outcome, and provide a way to appeal a denial. Avoid sending passwords, QR codes, or sensitive account data by email.
